Hi, I quote from to-day's Newspaper. "MINNEAPOLIS: US Episcopalian Bishops voted on Tuesday[5-8-03]to install the church's first openly gay Bishop, triggering a protest by conservative opponents........" Is this in line with the scriptures? Your comments, please. With Love in Christ. FytRobert |

Greetings FytRobert, It is absolutely NOT in line with the Word! The strongest word the bible uses in the negative sense is abomination. Lev 18:22 tells us that for a man to lie with a woman it is an abomination tp the Lord. I really wonder how they can ignore that part of the word of God. prayon |

Hello, prayon! You write, "I really wonder how they can ignore that part of the word of God." Dear sister in Christ, may I submit that in today's liberal, apostate churches there is essentially no part of the word of God that they don't ignore. I fail to understand why they even bother to keep a copy around. They don't really believe it, they don't follow its teachings, and it must be a distinct nuisance to them to have to dust it from time to time. But they are cunning and clever, these liberals. They don't let the Bible interfere with their beliefs and practices. --Hank | ||||||
