Hi, Romans... In modern English we'd probably say "an appropriate man" or "a suitable man." It simply means someone capable of performing the task. Probably a man who was physically able, knew the area, and was waiting nearby to perform the task. If you check other translations, I think the meaning will become more clear for you. In Him, Doc |
