Four identical statements? Am I repeating myself in my old age? Its possible. Sorry! Hi, Country Girl... what I wanted to do here was to show that there is flesh and blood beneath the bare words of scripture. Kierkegard said that is what he loved about the Bible, that it showed raw humanity, without trying to portray a pretty picture. In Leviticus 10:3 is a verse that just states the highlights. However, without doing violence to the truth, I think we, as fathers, can imagine Aaron's reaction. We can feel the anguish, and then more readily appreciate the statement that he said nothing. It must have really sunk in for him to have shut up that way. So, where did I repeat myself? Are you refering to the first sentences of my Hebrew notes? I'm just enjoying adding to the margin! :-) |

You can see all your 5 posts on this subject lined up together when you click on the link "Needing follow up?" on the left side of your screen. I like to check it periodically to see if there's anything of interest to me and few or no one else has responded. I admit sometimes my trigger finger on the submit button is also a little too anxious or too impatient for my computer. Blessings to you, my friend. Country Girl |

Ah, yes... those are four linked passages that refer to one another. Too bad this forum doesn't have a way to link scriptures in a long chain. Just adding to the margin. :-) |
