God hates divorce The Bible does say if after the divorce, you married another, you may not remarry the first (Deu 24:1-4). ... HARDNESS of heart is the reason ... see next paragraph. In Matthew 19:1-12 and Mark 10:1-12 divorce is granted because of the HARDNESS of the heart (Matt 19:8, Mark 10:5) of the "innocent" person. I contend that adultery doesn't justify divorce. I think the only grounds that divorce is justified, is if the unbeliever leaves and the unbeliever files for divorce (1 Cor 7:12-16). |
