No truer words have been spoken. And this unfortunately is the concept that has crept into much of the church today. Pick the doctrines of Christianity you like and ignore what you don't like. And it goes beyond just doctrine, many in the church today view God in similar way. Pick the aspects or attributes of God you like and ignore those you don't. Too many today try to mold God into their view of what God should be instead of allowing God to mold them into what He wants them to be. |
