2 | who is the complaint about in Chapter 1 | Hab 1:2 | kalos | 169089 | ||
As far as I can determine, Habakkuk is complaining about neither Israel nor Judah. Neither of these names occurs in the first chapter of the book. 'Habakkuk was wondering why God was allowing His chosen people to go through the current suffering at the hands of their enemies. God answers and Habakkuk’s faith is restored.' (www.gotquestions.org/ Book-of-Habakkuk.html) AMPLIFIED Habakkuk 1:2 O Lord, how long shall I cry for help and You will not hear? Or cry out to You of violence and You will not save? |
