copyrightpolice As far as we know Aaron was a slave like all Hebrews in Egypt, and evidently managed to escape. God told him to do something and when God instructs us to do something God makes a way for that to occur. How God accomplished Aaron's escape we are not told. EdB |

Thanks EdB. That's what I was thinking. But I wonder if there is a bigger lesson here. What this speaks to me is this: I wonder if a lot of times, when God tell us to do something...we focus too much on how to do what God told us to do...instead we should just do it and leave the details up to God. just a thought.
4 | thanks | Ex 4:27 | EdB | 62287
copyrightpolice I think your right. This is the lesson Jesus was teaching His disciples in Mark 4:35-41 with the wind and seas. He had told them to cross to the other side. They were watching the seas. Jesus later awoke stilled the sea and asked where was their faith? Many times God asks us to do something and instead of doing it we spend all our time looking at our circumstance. Good observation! EdB |
