Gal 3:25 (GNBible) - Now that the time for faith is here, the Law is no longer in charge of us. [Today the new covenant prevails. We are under faith in Jesus Christ and no longer under the Law; the Law is for the non-Christain Israelites.]
2 | How do we lift up Christ for healing? | Ex 20:4 | John Hermes | 11343
Greetings Tim, Can you answer this for me? Gal 3:25 says that now we are no longer under the Law of the OT. So, how can we "lift up" Christ for healing in the same manner as Moses lifted up the brazen serpent in the desert? Will His image do? Your Brother in Christ, John Hermes

4 | How do we lift up Christ for healing? | Ex 20:4 | John Hermes | 11485

John here substitutes a verb implying glorifica-tion. Jesus, exalted to glory at his cross and resurrection, represents healing for all." John Hermes
5 | How do we lift up Christ for healing? | Ex 20:4 | EdB | 11487
John the lifted up in John 3:14 is talking about Jesus' crucificion, not his glorification. Jesus had to be lifted up, placed upon the cross, to secure the healing for us. Is this what your talking about? I'm having a hard time understanding what your asking exactly. Ed |
