Hi, Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Should I completely give it up whenever others got hold of my belongings/property? Or I have an exception where I can get them back through dialogue not resorting to force? Thanks. |

Hi, Abdullah... Welcome to the forum! The prohibition of theft is a command stated in a negative fashion. The positive expression of the command would be to take care to preserve what someone owns and their right to own it. If we do not seek the return of a person's stolen property, then we have become a partner to the thief.
