You only answer with questions. What do these verses mean scriptually? "if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God..." Acts 5:38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: And are you not aware of this verse? What does it mean? 1 Corinthians 14:3,4 3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. Acts 5:38 is a speech of Pharisee named Gamaliel (vs 34) and 1 Cor 14:3,4 is not related to it. |
