1 | Why Daniel 9:24-27? | Dan 9:24 | w123 | 14460
I agree that the first half of Dan 9:27 is fulfilled historically by the first coming of Christ as He confirms a covenant and ends all acceptable sacrifice for sin. However the seventy sevens cannot be complete because that would mean an end to sin in Jerusalem(ref Dan 9:24) and on earth and this has'nt happened yet.
2 | end of sin | Dan 9:24 | Thomas8 | 105847
Could the following apply... (1 John 3:9) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Perhaps that is the way he made an end of sin? |

3 | end of sin | Dan 9:24 | EdB | 105866
Yes, but more probably it is speaking about the events seen in chapter 20-22 of Revelations. When dead and Hades along with Satan is cast once and for all into the Lake of Fire. When we the believers receive our perfect bodies one that don't have propensity for sin, and we live on the New Heaven and New Earth in a place untainted by sin itself. EdB |
