1 | Daniel 8:21 the shaggy goat. | Dan 8:21 | justme | 60114
DANIEL 8:21 refers to "the shaggy goat" in last nights Bible study, one person said that Alexander the Great knew that this verse was refering to himself. When asked the source of this information, we were told the person read it somewhere. I would like to find the source, if there is one. Does anyone know if the statement is true? If it is true please, could you give me a reliable source for it? Chairo, justme |

2 | Daniel 8:21 the shaggy goat. | Dan 8:21 | EdB | 60160
Justme Interestingly enough the mascot of the Grecian Empire (Macedonia where Alexander was actually from) was the shaggy Angola goat that ranges on the rough cliffs in the hill sections of that country. When I say mascot I mean much like the Bald Eagle represents USA. Therefore if Alexander read Daniel I would think He would be able to put two and two together. This comes from secular history as many recovered Grecian shields and other articles are engraved with an image of a Angola Goat. EdB |
