1 | Who is the "prince" Eze 44:3 | Ezek 44:3 | Emily McAllister | 141807
It refers to David. This period of time is during the Millennium I believe. David was called the "prince forever" Ezekiel 34:24, 37:25
2 | Who is the "prince" Eze 44:3 | Ezek 44:3 | Ray | 141813
Hi Emily McAllister, Welcome to the forum. Notes from MacArthur's Study Bible are often quoted on this forum. He says that the prince could possibly be a descendant of David. I would be happy to type out his notes for the verse if you are interested. My personal view is that the "prince" refers back to the "man" of Ezekiel 40:3. He is the one who has been bringing Ezekiel to the various places. So I believe that the "Then He brought me" of verse four should be "Then he (lower case)[the prince] brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the house;" From the heart, Ray |

3 | Who is the "prince" Eze 44:3 | Ezek 44:3 | Emily McAllister | 141857
Thank you Ray. I am not familiar with MacArthur's Study Bible. I have a large collection of Bibles but I mainly use The Master Study Bible, New American Standard and have for 20 or more years. I do use Greek, Hebrew, Chaldee dictionaries and love that New Geneva Study Bible's notes and the Companion Bible, etc. Can you send me a link on MacArthur's Study Bible? I will backtrack this weekend as far as "prince" is concerned. Thanks for the information to get me started. If I get started on this during the week I would be up all night; can't seem to turn it loose. I would very much like his notes if it isn't too much trouble for you. I have a huge list of topics I would love to have discussed here.
