1 | The vision of the scroll | Ezek 3:1 | NightJay0044 | 175977 | ||
Hi, today I'm learning and looking at the passage about "the vision of the scroll". ezekiel 3 says: "he said to me, O mortal, eat what is offered to you; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of isreal" What does God mean about "The scroll"? What's is it's meaning? Is it an actual scroll or is it a metaphor or something else to describe it? Also what does he mean by "eat this scroll"? When someone answers, can someone please bible refernece me, and also tell me their belief about it. Thank you... Jason |

Scripture ... Psa 1:2, 19:14; Eze 3:1-3, 10, 2:8-9; 1Ti 4:15; Rev 10:9,10 ... God's day to you, Jason, The scroll is His word ... it could have been a literal scroll. I think that is true ... but whan he did he digested it, so he knew it well ... as we should. So when Ezekiel spoke, the words were true and part of him ... no matter the results of the listeners.
