Ezekiel 28: 1-2 there is a camparsion to these verses in Isaiah 12:12,14,15. here there was a proud ruler, and God used Ezekeil to rebuke him and let him know that he was wrong. just like in Isaiah 14:12-13 Lucifer was cast down to the ground because of his pride and rebellion spirit. Luke 14:11 " For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. We are nothing in the sight of God, we we must not think ourselves to be anything more. If there be any exalting, let it be done through the spirit of God and others. Here in Ezekiel Tyre was tooting his own horn so to speak. "thou shalt have no other god before me" saith the Lord. | ||||||
