1 | Nothing happens just because we speak? | Jer 15:2 | Makarios | 13536
Greetings Peter! I am sorry, but I have searched diligently for the past two days in Jeremiah for an answer to your question and the closest that I can come up with is this verse in 15:2.. I also looked in Isaiah but I did not find any single verse with the "elements" that you described.. I regret that I was unable to help you. --Nolan |

2 | Do not fear what you say, it will not | Jer 15:2 | dadpick | 13653
Dear Nolan, Thank you, but that isn't the verse. The verse was near the end of Jeremiah. The best recollection I have is that it said, "Do not be afraid of what you say, for, unless it is ordained by God, it will not happen." I've been trying to re-read Jeremiah from Chapter 33. If you come up with something, please let me know. I've word-searched "fear, afraid, ordained, appointed, say, said, speak;" but to no avail. The Lord has taught me somethig about taking notes. 3 | Do not fear what you say, it will not | Jer 15:2 | Sir Pent | 13696
There is a couple verses (Jeremiah 32: 36-37) which are somewhat similar. In those verses, the people are "saying" that a city will be given over to "the sword, famine, and pestilence", but God comes back and says that this will "not happen", but instead that the city will be given protection and safety. It is a stretch, but that might be what you're looking for. "36": And now therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence; "37": Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: |
