Matthew 5:44"But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?" We will not be impatient that the wicked prosper if we keep eternity in mind! This should be a very sobering reality check for every Christian. Romans 12:19 Honestly, how do you feel about Osama Bin Laden? From his actions, we would call him wicked, and yet he is enormously wealthy or prosperous from a worldly perspective. Is he not your enemy as well as mine? Do you pray for him? I confess, I have not. |
