Beja, I do not appreciate your false accusations. I bring greetings along with God's word and I receive hostility. If you would like me to leave this site, I will dust my sandals off and go. I will not fight with you.

God's day to you, findrichard, I agree with my brothers. If you are not trying to stir something up by calling Saturday "Lord's Holy Day" as opposed to Sunday ... please explain yourself. Searcher |

Dear findrichard, Your post struck me when you complain users' cursing you which is beyond the fact. As I've read those posts associated with the thread, what I see is sincere (and so as your greetings, I believe) admonition addressed to you to comply with the guideline of the forum. I don't understand how you would discern such advice as "curse". Since you are new to the forum, those old timers are trying to guide you to pay attention to the TOU in order that your posting legitimation can be sustained. Thank you. Prov 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend,... Shalom Azure |

azurelaw, you are right, I stand corrected. Curses was a bad word choice. Sorry, just a sinner saved by grace here. Being new to these forums, I was expecting a more positive spirit. It seems to me that as ambassadors for Christ we would spend our energies trying to reconcile scriptural truth in order to build each other up in the faith. This contradicting of one scripture with another is quite distasteful to me and I will not indulge in it. The seeming contradictions are because of our imperfect understanding, lets put off pride and see if we can come to terms with some of it for the glory of God. I do not think he is glorified in pitting one scripture against another. How can we expect to unify a world in Christ if we ourselves can not unify under one faith? I am not looking for an argument here but unity in the truth. Can't we as reasonable adults express our thoughts to each other without condemnation? Sincere or not, that was no way for a Christian to behave toward another believer or even toward a pagan for that matter. Somewhere I remember someone saying "Love your neighbor and love your enemy" To God be the glory, Amen.

Dear findrichard, You may call me Azure :-) We all are sinners saved by the wonderful grace of God. When I was new to the forum, I always reminded myself about the limitation of such communication platform - text. We cannot hear each other's voice nor can we see each other's faces. This kind of media could appear to be cold especially when we want to express our thought precisely. So, I try not to read too much emotion or feelings into the posts in order to avoid unnecessary misunderstanding. As an old timer (well not that old actually :-D) on the forum and my interaction with Beja, Brad, Searcher and Lionheart, and some others, I can assure you that they are brothers in Christ always speak the truth in LOVE. Don't think that you are condemned (I deeply believe this is not any of their intention) nor feel offended when being asked for correction or clarification. When we post, we have to also consider how other silent readers of the forum interpret what we have written. And we are to be careful with what we teach (James 3:1) Therefore, concerning the subject discussed, I think Beja has explained in his post 224421 about his concern clearly. I really hope that you would take his remarks into consideration. May God bless you and keep you. Shalom Azure |
