1 | Why replace a wolf for a lion | Is 54:10 | stjohn | 196689
Hi K, I don't really see where any "laying" is being done, Is 11:6, says, "the wolf will dwell with the lamb," And then, Is 65:25, says, "The wolf and the lamb will graze together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox;" maybe someone would know, if, or where, it says they will "lay" together? Maybe another translation? John |

2 | Why replace a wolf for a lion | Is 54:10 | Val | 196699
Its the leopard and the goat in this passage. That was her point that the lion and lamb are lying in a pasture in peace. The lion is not trying to eat the lamb but someone told her it is a wolf and a lamb. Anyway the point is peace - there will be peace even among the animals. Hope this helps, John. Is 11:6 And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, And the leopard will lie down with the young goat, And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little boy will lead them. |
