What does Isaiah 53:6 suggest about Henley's famous lines, "I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul"? In the phrase "To fall on Him" to whom does "Him" refer?

Hank, this IS my favorite verse! In light of Isaiah 53:6, Henley has 'gone astray' and 'turned to his own way' and needs to come to a realization that his iniquity has been paid for by Jesus Christ. In this verse (my favorite!), just as the priest laid his hands on the scapegoat and symbolically put Israel's sins on it (Lev. 16:21), the Lord ("Him") bore our own iniquities on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds we are healed. (1 Peter 2:24).
