Scripture ... Psa 45:2, Isa 53:2-3, Phi 2:8 ... God's day to you, wwat, and welcome to the SBF, Isaiah 53:2-3 is the best verse to describe Him. We know He was a man (Phi 2:8). Some use Psalms 45:2. The Bible does't give the pigment of His skin, or any other physical description. There are some external sources - http://www.thenazareneway.com/likeness_of_our_saviour.htm There are some who believe that people painted, drew Him with themselves in mind. Europe was the center of Christianity. Since people were of light pigment, that is how He appeared. However, if you look at the Jews of today, I believe His skin pigment wasn't as light as He was protrayed. Searcher |
