2 | How do we know we're in the end times? | Is 1:1 | Fatherof4 | 127590
We are not in the "end times" because the "end times" ended in 70 A.D. If you've never heard of preterism, you should read the articles at http://www.preterism.info. For instance, check out Matt. 16:27-28 "…the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done. I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom." Therefore, the "Second Coming" must have occurred in the first century. |

Request for clarification............................................. Hello Fatherof4, I had not heard of Preterism before, but I checked out the site you recommended as well as several others. Do you consider yourself a full-preterist or a partial-preterist? If you believe that Jesus "second" coming happened in the first century, then do you believe that he will never come back again, or will there be a "third coming"? |

4 | How do we know we're in the end times? | Is 1:1 | Fatherof4 | 127714
I am a full Preterist as far as I understand that to be. I believe the Second Coming / Final Judgement to be in the past. I can't speak for God's plans, but I do not believe the Bible predicts another coming. I consider all prophecy in the Bible fufilled. Based on how I read it, I do not see in the Bible that God is planning to destroy the earth in "another" final judgement event.
