1 | why is Ham wrong? | Gen 9:23 | aries_luv_ppl | 136244
oh sorry, I didn't ask the question clearly (it is my second language), yes. I mean why Noah curse Ham and Canaan, for instructing, Shem and Japeth for covering his nakeness. I know the one who instruct someone to do wrong is worse than the one who did it. But why is that wrong?
2 | why is Ham wrong? | Gen 9:23 | DocTrinsograce | 136245
Gen 9:22 does not say that Ham told his brothers to cover him. Instead, after Ham did whatever he did to his father, he went to his brothers and told them about it. Apparently he did this in a wanton and scoffing manner (as John Gill puts it). Somehow, Canaan was also involved. Does that help you to understand? |
