What is the significance of the numbers 7 and 40 in the bible? I notice that throughout the bible, these numbers are mentioned in reference to some time, event or number to accomplish some feat. (Ex. 40 days and 40 nights, 40,000 soldiers, the earth was created in 7 days, you will see 7 signs, etc.) |
