As most of the responses to your question has indicated, it really all boils down to a matter of trusting in God. There are many features in the Bible which pose some interesting puzzles such as the fact that God commanded the killing of the original inhabitants of the promised land, Canaan before, after and during the taking over of that region by the Israelites. And this is in direct contrast to God's Commandments given to the Israelites just a few Bible chapters before. When we're given puzzles like this, we're all motivated to question such contrasts. So again, in the final analysis, it must boil down to the question: Are we going to trust God or do we continue to question Him and jepordize our relationship with our Father and our fellow christians. Blessings to you. Country Girl |
