1 | Mary's egg used in conception of Jesus? | Gen 3:15 | justme | 71916
In the conception of Jesus Christ, was Marys egg united with what The Holy Spirit did to make the egg start to form Christ? Or did the Holy spirit implant everything into Mary's womb, as a complete living zigote (Christ)ready to attach to the wall of the womb? After reading about the notes about Jesus getting His flesh from Mary I thought about it and came up wit a question I have never read an answer to? See if you can prove your conclusion with Scripture, and please give some real thought into it, before answering, please? Blessings to all. justme |

2 | Mary's egg used in conception of Jesus? | Gen 3:15 | Emmaus | 71917
Justme, What does your theory do with Genesis 3:15 and the "seed of the woman" which Christian exegets all call a prophecy of Jesus beiong born of the seed of a woman? The only place in scripture where a person is mentioned as a seed of woman rather than a seed of man is there is Gen 3:15. Emmaus |

3 | Mary's egg used in conception of Jesus? | Gen 3:15 | justme | 71919
Emmaus: Thank you for you thoughts. I would agree. For Christ to be fully man (flesh) and fully devine, I would think that Marys egg would have to have been used in the conception of our Lord Jesus Christ. Most assuredly Jesus Christ was connected to Marys womb by a umbilical cord, which as we know is a direct connection for growth to take place. To think of all the women in the world, past and present, God in His devine wisdom choose Mary and Joseph to raise His Only Divine Son, is mind streching, beyond my ability. I am sure Mary did ponder many things about all these questions and more, as the Scripture says. Much about Christianity as we consider such wonderful things, only bring us to a deeper understanding of how Great a love God has for us. justme |
