1 | Potiphar's Wife | Gen 36:1 | Praise Be To God | 143997 | ||
Maybe you could say how she was probably used to getting her own way. Joseph was probably not her first "conquest," but she became obsessed with him because he consistently told her "No". She was probably consumed with "self" and couldn't stand the fact that someone was telling her "No." She probably arranged for the servants to be out of the house that last time she approached Joseph. She was an evil woman, the kind of woman Proverbs warns us about. Yes, it is hard not to turn this into praise for Joseph and his godly actions. Hope this helps. Janae |

In fact, I just had an idea of what you could do. You could write out all the verses in Proverbs about the "strange woman," saying they describe the actions of Potiphar's wife. You could even tie it in with the wisdom verses in Proverbs, showing that describes Joseph's actions. Janae |
