1 | what does leaving mean in gen 2:24 | Gen 2:24 | 35893
when it says leave does that mean to leave the parent child relationship? I have wondered about some men that always remain their parents child first and a mate secondary. The same applies to women also they remain emotionally dependent in some way.
2 | what does leaving mean in gen 2:24 | Gen 2:24 | 35898
"leaving" to seperate oneself from or disconnect from. More than anything I think this concept henders more relationships than anything else in life. The truth of the matter is there is only one way to be one with your spouce and that is to seperate in thought from the direction of ones parents. Not easy to do in many cases, parents have a hold on there children and this can hinder there growth process. But if we are to become one that is the like the bible teaches, the two become one no longer two but one then the relationship enjoyed with parents have to take a back seat to the new relationship of the marrage and the building of one life and spirit together.
