1 | The Day of Eve's Creation | Gen 2:22 | Lionstrong | 23054
I'm not posting this as a questions, because I think there are no answers to these questions. Just something to think about. ...... Although the human race was created on the sixth day in the person of Adam, the female of our race was formed (could be translated “built”) some time after the sixth day. God rested on the seventh day, then(?) planted a garden and placed the man in it; had a trinitarian conference on the problem of Adam’s loneliness; brought three classes of animals to him (all of each class(?), some of each class(?)). All that he brought Adam named. Then God anesthetized Adam and surgically removed a rib, from which he “fashioned” (good word applied to a woman!) a woman. ......... Peace, Lionstrong, a.k.a. 3 | The Day of Eve's Creation | Gen 2:22 | Lionstrong | 23629
You're right, Norrie. But I wonder how many animals Adam named and how long it took. Peace, Lionstrong, a.k.a. LooseCannon, a.k.a. Loosey
4 | The Day of Eve's Creation | Gen 2:22 | Norrie | 23651
Maybe there wasn't as many animals then? Remember on the Ark there had to be 2 kinds of every animal so only one wolf was needed instead of the 256 varieties of dogs. Then Adam was super intelligent, not like we are now. :) |
