1 | One land mass? | Gen 1:9 | Makarios | 13745 | ||
Hello Lionstrong, Your reference to Moses and the stars being a statement "in passing" is definitely an understatement and I agree! However, I do not believe that a great "shifting of the continents" could have taken place without the whole world witnessing this major development! So that is why I believe that this happened during the flood. It would have to be a 'worldwide' occurrence, since it affected all areas of land on the earth. The only worldwide natural catastrophy (or "Act of God") that we have in the Bible is the flood. So that is why I do not believe that this statement could be entirely referring to the separation of continents. But that is just my own opinion, and opinions are given out free of charge.. :) Blessings, Nolan |

You might be right, Nolan, because although the Bible has the only accurate account of the the Flood one finds perversions of this account world wide. I don't know, but are there accounts of the landmass break up after the Flood? If there aren't, it would be good negative evidence that the break up occurred during the Flood and not after.
