1 | One land mass? | Gen 1:9 | EdB | 13699
Yes I guess this is one of the differences between me and many others, I try to take the Bible literally if at all possible. Since we know that at one point there was one continent and now there are many and since this says doing Peleg's life the world was divided I buy into it. For me this interpretation works, doesn't effect salvation, and I can't be contradicting the Bible since I didn't apply any meaning to the passage other than what it said. I try to take things as a child with almost child like faith! Hey wait a minute didn't Jesus say we were suppose to have child like faith? Wow, maybe I'm on to something! :-)
2 | One land mass? | Gen 1:9 | Makarios | 13744
Dear Ed, My post to you was not meant to be "confrontational" on this subject. I felt the need to explain my point of view surrounding Gen. 1:9. In no way was I trying to imply that your interpretation of Gen. 1:9 was "wrong". I was simply adding new information to the topic at hand. --Nolan |

3 | One land mass? | Gen 1:9 | EdB | 13777
Nor was my response to you meant to be confrontational. I was explaining why I reached the conclusion I did. I attempted to demonstate how I allowed the Bible to interpret itself and lead me to the conclusion. No harm done!
