1 | is conception a sinful act? | Gen 1:28 | Pamtas | 51918
Hi everyone...i've been approached by some evangelists who is trying to convince me that the act of having children is a sin...they state that god made whole concious humans (adam and eve) not babies and when a man impregnate a woman they both commit a sin..but the child itself is not a sin...they support their argument by stating that god is fair and it would not be fair to make human beings who are not concious (babies) and vulnerable and their not responsible for their actions and who they love..they stated that children, family love is therefore forced..Could i have some response to this anyone..its new to me..dont know how to respond to it really..thanks alot.

Conception is not sin when done in biblical order. You see if conception should take place when one has fornicated or committed adultery in this case conception is viewed as sin your sin has found you out. (David and Bethsheba) However when a child is conceived in marriage the conception is not a sin because it is done in the order which God has ordained. What happens spiritually to the child that was conceived in Sin? I was conceived in sin. My parents were not married at the time I was conceived. From experience I can tell you the enemy gets a hold of these children before birth. The seed of the spirit of rejection is already planted. When the father is not present it's reinforced. When the mother looks at the child in a not so loving way or says an unkind word like "you are just like you no good father" based on those feeling in relations to how that child was conceived he/she will detect the ugliness in the look and tone. We can not be naive nor deceived by the tricks of the enemy. This issue is like an untouchable one but it is real. Children are a blessing no matter what the circumstances of conception, however we must keep in mind there are consequences of sin. To answer the question conception is not a sin when done in a Godly perspective. Remember we all have a past and we all have issues that we have to deal with in this fleshly form. The word of God hold all truths. Don't take man at his word Read God's Word.
