The rest of the answer Luthren July 30, 2005 Always In Christ, C.S.M. Micah 6:8 defines good: He (God) has showed you, O man (both male and female) what is good; and what does the Lord REQUIRE of you, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God" (margin says: to humble yourself to walk with God.) This is a self humbling, God will not force you to walk with him. Evil then would be the opposite of good: To do unjustly, to hate mercy, and to refuse to humble yourself to walk WITH God. Consider James 1:17 "Every GOOD gift and every PERFECT gift is from above, and comes DOWN from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." God is good, satan is evil! Gods' plan for us? Only good! Always in Christ, C.S.M. |
