1 | Ruling and Reigning | Gen 1:26 | ariel levin | 224975
Shalom everyone, First let me thank all who responded to my response regarding the New Heaven and New Earth (New Jerusalem included within). Here's another puzzler for me: If, accroding to NT all within New Jerusalem are believers and according to NT we (believers) are to rule and reign - OVER WHAT are we ruliing and reigning? Or is this just to mean during the millenial reign where I understand that many will be born of those left alive (believers at its instigation) that will NOT follow God's Ways? Thank you |

2 | Ruling and Reigning | Gen 1:26 | Beja | 224976
Ariel, I would point to Genesis 1 for the answer. What was mankind originally to rule over? Answer: Creation. We also have indication in the gospels that this will include the angels. In Christ, Beja |

Beja, I had the earth part down, (but in my human mind that really didn't seem like r snf r since it would not be cursed), but I had totally forgotten the angels part. TY! |

Cheri, would you mind very much giving an old man with a limited ability to communicate a break and speak in English? What is, "r snf r" and "TY!" Many of us are not as savvy as some others, so please for the respect of the fact that some who visit here have a limited ability and some do not speak English as a first language, please keep your communiqué as clear as posable. Thanks! -John

Stjohn, I'm assuming this is to me? I saw it as I was reading down the page. r snf r was a typo, left hand fingers in the wrong place. It was supposed to be r and r (for ruling and reinging) because the software won't allow apersands. When asking a question it wouldn't be too wise of me to try to be mysterious (just a poor typist sometimes). Sorry. :o) Oh, and to respond to your question of why not both - doesn't the old earth get burned up to nothingness, or is it just to a crisp, to be useable sometime later maybe? |
