Genesis 11:7 "Come let's [let us] go down and give them different languages." Who is God speaking referring to when He says "us" ... Jesus? Angels? And, can I "assume" from now on that when God refers to an "us" that it is the same "us"? |

Dear Aileen, Note "Us" is in capital letter. Cross reference to this verse (Gen 11:7) is Gen 1:26 talking about making man in the image of God. Therefore, I believe the "Us" in Gen 11:7 refers to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Shalom Azure P.S. Your questions sound like homework assignment. Are they? I could be misunderstanding you. If so, please accept my apology. |

Thank you for your answer - It makes perfect sense. My questions are not homework assignments (I got a giggle out of that!). Although I look at myself as a "Student of the Bible" even though I am an older "Student" - I am a grandmother. I have never really read the Bible - this is my 1st time. The questions are my reading the bible - questioning something I have read - writing down the passage that I have the question about and then what my question is. I am not offended or anything like that ... I actually think it is pretty cool - you thought my questions were good enough to have been given by a teacher. | ||||||
