1 | which came first the chicken or the egg | Gen 1:20 | Jensen | 33155
Dear joetatep...The chicken came before the egg. The answer to the riddle is found in the Book of Origins....GE 1:20 And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good." God Bless....Jensen |

2 | which came first the chicken or the egg | Gen 1:20 | Hank | 33170
Jensen, this is not to "fowl" up your answer to the chicken/egg question, because it was a good one. I merely want to note that the question put chicken in the singular, and most of us who have a nodding acquaintance with the doctrine of the birds and the bees realize that God created a pair of those birds, male and female, and since birds of a feather flock together they became Mr. and Mrs. Chicken. --Hank
3 | which came first the chicken or the egg | Gen 1:20 | Aspiring Overseer | 33178

Each were created fully formed (and in the case of living creatures) able to reproduce after their own kind.
