Dear Shiner, You say," I have a deep longing and yearning to have more heart knowledge of God.." God wants you to know Him and He has generously written a letter to you to tell you about Himself and to tell you about yourself. In the Bible we are told everything we need to know about God, how to find Him and how He wants us to live. He is so generous that He allows us to have freewill to choose to get to know Him or not, your choice. He does say though that if you don't understand the parable of the sower in the book of Mark chapter 4, then you won't understand ANY parables. Mark chapter 4 should also be read with Matt 13, they go together in many ways as you will see if you read and have a sincere heart and want to understand what the Father has for you. Mark 4:13-20 13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? 14 The sower soweth the word. 15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. 18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. 20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. KJV Please forgive me, I don't understand the "deer pants" and am not too bright, but I hope this helps. Bless you, Love Fountain PS - In Matt 13:15 it says,"...understand with your heart..." the word heart is used figuratively for the mind or intellect as follows, The Greek word for heart is kardia in Matt 13:15. NT:2588 kardia (kar-dee'-ah); prolonged from a primary kar (Latin, cor, "heart"); the heart, i.e. (figuratively) the thoughts or feelings (mind); also (by analogy) the middle: KJV - (broken-) heart (-ed).
