1 | Did Noah's son Put have any descendants? | Gen 10:6 | Seeker777 | 61087
What became of Noah's son Put and his descendants? Did he have any descendants? The bible mentions his brothers and their descendants, but aside from Genesis 10:6, I've found no further mention of Put in the bible... Thanks, Hope |

2 | Did Noah's son Put have any descendants? | Gen 10:6 | Makarios | 61125
Greetings Seeker777, According to Easton's Bible Dictionary.. "PUT, PHUT(1.) One of the sons of Ham (Gen. 10:6). (2.) A land or people from among whom came a portion of the mercenary troops of Egypt, Jer. 46:9 (A.V., "Libyans," but correctly, R.V., "Put"); Ezek. 27:10; 30:5 (A.V., "Libya;" R.V., "Put"); 38:5; Nahum 3:9." If you read Jeremiah 46:9, Ezekiel 27:10; 30:5; 38:5 and Nahum 3:9, you will gain sufficient Biblical evidence that Put had many descendants. Blessings to you, Makarios |
