1 | Psalms 14 and Romans 3 | Ps 14:5 | mbooker | 59368 | ||
In Rom 3:10-12, Paul was quoting Psalm 14:1-3. In v11, Paul says 'there is none that seek after God'. Is this quote in another passage of scripture? In v10, Paul says there is none righteous. Who is the generation of the righteous in Psalm 14:5? Thanks in advance to those who may respond... :) Abba Father Bless... |

Scripture ... Psa 14:2 - Rom 3:11, Psa 14:5 ... Greetings, When an OT passage is seen in the NT, it may not be an exact quote. One reason is that the OT source could be the Septuigant, which was a Greek translation. Paul also wrote in Greek. He and the Psalmist were both inspired by the Holy Spirit, as you know. The same thought is there in both places. Psalm 14:5 may be one generation in the future, or all who are righteous. Hope this helps, Searcher |
