1 | Does it mean naturally or what? | Ps 116:1 | S. A. Benson | 136034
I have been going through some issue lately. I haven't been getting any sleep for last few days, so I started praying yesterday to find a solution. God gave me the scripture Psalm 116:1-19 to read. I'm trying to get the meaning out of it. Does it mean deliverence from death naturally or what?
2 | Does it mean naturally or what? | Ps 116:1 | EdB | 136035
This Psalm was most probably like Psalm 18:1 where David is praising God for his deliverance from the hands of Saul. I think the real significant meaning here is Psalmist is saying trust in God for your deliverance. I don't know your situation but I do know if your a child of God whether you live or die you are in God's hand. Verse 15 says precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Meaning God is there. However to continue to live we are assured God is with us. It is a can't lose situation. Our problem comes in when we try to hang on to this world failing to realize this isn't our home. We are pilgrims, aliens here. Hebrews 11:13-16 EdB |
