1 | Is "patient" Job actually not so patient | Job 1:22 | qatharms | 158422
Recently I heard a Bible teacher say that in Hebrew, the word translated as "curse" in Chapter 1 of Job is actually the Hebrew word for bless. Is it possible that throughout the first two chapters the writer meant to make a satyrical word play on the word "bless?" Is it possible that our normal interpretation of Job's words "Blessed be the name of the Lord" actually betray at this early point his frustration with suffering whose purpose he cannot comprehend?
2 | Is "patient" Job actually not so patient | Job 1:22 | Barach | 158423
