I would suggest that is speculation. They are specifically identified as being The Bab, the Forerunner of Baha'u'llah of the Baha'i Faith; the Eighteen Letters of the Living, appointed by The Bab, and a specific early Baha'i teacher in Persia in the 1800s. The remaining four are authoritatively said to remain unknown until some time in the future. Refer to "The Dawn-Breakers, Nabil's Narrative", ISBN 0-87743-010-1, for their history. You can obtain this text through an inter-library loan. Facsimiles of the original instructions by The Bab to these persons are in this book in original Persian. You might recall that the Lord of the Vineyard, the 2nd Advent of the Messiah, would come through the family of Keturah, the "third" wife of Abraham. |
