New Creature: I can say with an infatic mind set, that Tim LaHey, John Hagee, and the Left Hehind endless set of fiction books, should peresent the WORD as it is, not as they make it up for the mighty dollar. I believe Jesus had the best available facts in which we can gain insight as to His rerturn. Matt24:13 we have to endure to the end. Verse 21-31 tells us after the tribulation He will return, and not in a secret way! Verse 36 tells us ONLY THE FATHER KNOWS WHEN JESUS will return. The rest of the chapter deals with us being ready. For me this makes it rather easy to understand, and I find it is in sink with the rest of Scripture. I won't argue with anyone who thinks I am very wrong. I don't consider this worth disfellowshiping over. With the exception of those who think the Cloud Ten LEFT BEHIND films are even close to Scripture. Even then I choose to back away, rather than argue. I think there is always hope that there is the possibility of a revival. I don't see much of a true desire of a real change in North America, unless the Lord is willing to give the USA and Canada Mercy, after our countries have made a mockery out of very basic of human sexuality. Romans Chapter one clearly states Gods wrath is on its way! I encourage you to be the one to start a fire where you live. Just maybe the Lord will use YOU! I pray so. Blessings and peace. |

Justme We might be disfellowshiping then, I think the Left Behind series is a counter to Satans work (Harry Potter). Although I don;t take the Left Behind Books as scripture I believe they are based upon Lahaye's interpetation of the scriptures. I admire his work for the simple fact that we they have led people to Christ. God Bless you, Darcy |

Laheys co author does not believe in the trinity. The books are listed in Christian Book Stores as FICTION. Which is true. The books weave fiction with some scripture. Not a good combo. If you enjoy them, and keep in mind they are the Harry Potter of the Christian fiction world then that's good. Blessings. justme |

Harry Potter of the Christian fiction? How could you even claim such a statement. How many people do you think were led to Christ through the Harry Potter Books? Now how many people were led to Christ through the Left Behind series? To put Harry Potter and Left Behind even remotely close to each other I think is damaging. Like I stated before I didn't think Left Behind was Scriptural but a lot of it is based on Tim Lahaye's interpetation of them. My Favorite book besides the Bible of course is a fictional book by Gene Edwards that is part fiction part Scriptural called Tale of Three Kings. It is a beautiful book about brokenness. But yet it is fictional with Scripture in it. If Jerry Jenkins doesn't believe in the trinity, the trinity is mentioned in the Left Behind. |
