Greetings Big O! Seven is the number of "completeness" and it is spoken in the Bible in different occasions as showing completeness or possible omniscience. I believe that is the meaning that is being conveyed by the LORD when He says "these seven are the eyes of the LORD, which range through the whole earth." For the LORD is omniscient and sees all. For comparison passages, turn to Zechariah 3:9, Proverbs 15:3, 2 Chronicles 16:9, Job 31:4 and Revelation 5:6. Blessings to you, Makarios |
