1 | How do you feel about the Ten Commandmen | Ephesians | brrrilliantsteve | 235819 | ||
Jesus says: "And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail." Luke 16:17. God says: "My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips." (Notice, the Ten Commandments came from God's lips). Exodus 20:1 says "And God spake these words saying...[The Ten Commandments follow in verses 2-17]." It is utterly impossible for ANY of God's moral law ever to change. ALL Ten commandments are binding today. If not why did Paul and the other apostles keep God's seventh day Sabbath holy? |

Greetings Steve Just trying to spread a little more light on this subject. If you will notice Paul says in Galatians 3:16,19 "the Law was given until the Seed should come. The seed refered to is Jesus. So God intended for the Law He gave to Moses and the Jews to Last only until the time of christ. Also Notice in Luke 16:17 and Matthew 5:17,18 Jesus came to fulfill the law. Jesus said the Law would not pass away until all was fulfilled or acomplished. Does Jesus say the Law would never pass away ? Jesus said the Law would pass away when all was accomplished (fulfilled) , not before. Trust in the word. fmp |
