1 | Romans Road verses inorder please? | Romans | justme | 62206 | ||
I am looking for the exact scripture order of the "ROMANS ROAD". I have used what I think is the Romans Road, of leading others to Christ. This has worked very well for me, for several years. However, recently someone told me I have it in a different way then they had seen. They did not have their Bible with them, and could not remember exactly how it went. If some one could give me the verses in the correct order I would be pleased, Thank you and God bless. justme |

Hello justme I have heard it different ways. Frankly, it doesn't matter. There is no ONE correct way. I think the basic is: Rom 3:10; 3:23; 5:8; 6:23; 10:9-10; 10:13. But I've added 1:18; 1:20; 4:4; 5:12. It really depends on the direction of the conversation. Of course, you could just memorize the book of Romans and not fret over it. :-) Steve |

Steve:-) Thank you very much. This is creative, the way you have added to it. I have used several ways to reach out to share the Gospel. The Romans Road has served me the best of all. The 4 Spiritual Laws is too awakward for me, with the train and feelings thing. I dislike "canned" testemonies. However I will say, If you were to die right this minuet and God would ask you, why should I let you into my kingdom? What would you say? This has been a good opener, and gets some really strange answers. One big concern of mine is that many are led to Christ with no follow up. Then they die on the hard ground. I make a point of following up, with personal help or getting a solid church to work with the person. I pray for the people who find Christ, and sometimes keep in touch when possible. Speaking of memorizing the book of Romans; I ment a man from India, Joseph Thomas. His father made him memorize a portion of Romans before he could have his meals. Joseph had many books of the Bible comitted to memory! Joseph had done more memorization than I ever dreamed was possible for anyone to do! Acts, Romans, and several others. Joseph memorized them in KJV. When I met him he was 81 years old, and his mind was sharp as a tack. Joseph's love for the Lord Jesus was as strong as I have ever seen, as well his lover of the Word! Ten years ago was the last time I saw him. I am ashamed of how little I have memorized. I really mean every verse was perfect, as he quoted chapter by chapter, as I read along silently. I would have been a very skinny kid, if eating depended on memorizing scripture. I believe I have instant erase menory, and it gets faster as I grow older. Thank you for your help. justme |
