This was an account of faith and the ability of two men to believe in someone besides themselves. God showed them and others that faith will go a long was.Paul and Silas were showing not only the jailer but Rome itself that they answered to a higher power and that the one that they served was able to protect them. Second it showed that Gods work of redemption is able to save any where at anytime. if we as Christians expressed hafe as much faith as these two did we could work wonders.Just a thought. | ||||||
