Greetings Alden4vr! If you are new to the Bible, I would recommend that you start reading the Gospel of John. It is the fourth book in the New Testament. Just start reading, beginning with prayer of course! Keep a notebook handy and jot down any questions or observations you might have. I would then recommend that you go to Acts (the 5th book), and then just keep reading straight through the New Testament. Come back later and finish off the first three books (Matthew, Mark, and Luke). Over time, God will open His word up to you as you discpline yourself to reading it. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
