Cyrenius and Quirinius were the same person. "2:2 Quirinius was governor of Syria. Hello Searcher! That is quite possible, he could have governed Judah from his Senate seat in Rome, and left King Herod to all of the "provincial details".. It may help if you might remember where you heard that, which would help to verify that information. Blessings to you, Nolan |
