2 | Jesus saves, not baptizing, right? | Mark | Emmaus | 82559 | ||
Timmybean, Many believe that Jesus saves by means of baptism since it Jesus through his Body, the Church, who baptizes people into Christ. See Romans 6:3-4 and Ephesians 4:12. It is because jesu is the one batizing us into his Body, the Church, by means of his Body, the Church, that baptism can be said to save. Jesus can save without baptism, but it is clear that baptism is the normative way He desires since He instructed his followers to preach the gospel to and baptize all nations. Matthew 28:19-20 Emmaus |
